Killing Priests, Mothers and Unborn Babies

A very controversial computer game has been created in Argentina recently. It is called 'Doom Fetito' and it has been created by a pro-abortion journalist Florencia Rumpel Rodriguez. This game is so strange that it is obvious that it has not been created just to entertain young people but also to manifest a certain way of thinking. But, what is so controversial about this game?

Firstly, you have to shoot mothers and priests- this is the main task of the game. What's the most outrageous is that the last challenge is to kill an unborn baby. Players in most of such games shoot soldiers from a hostile army, zombies or other monsters. Choosing innocent people to be targets is just freakish. But, there is more to it.

At the end of the game players can see an information saying: 'Congratulations. You have defeated a fetus. Take Misoprostol and give it to others so that they can also defeat a fetus.' Just to clarify, Misoprostol is a medication which taken by pregnant women can cause a miscarriage. But, why would anyone encourage women to take it? It is hard to understand.

But, there is one explanation as to why this game has been created in the first place. There is an ongoing debate between people who are pro-choice and pro-life as to changes in Argentinian law. One side demands a right to abortion without any restrictions while the other group wants a much stricter law.

So, this game presents priests, mothers and unborn babies as enemies, as targets. One would say that it promotes violence towards these groups of people or at least a lack of tolerance to those who are pro-life. Besides, it depicts unborn babies as monsters and abortion as a victory.
