People with Down Syndrome can lead normal lives with a little support from others. But, it does not mean that only family members of those people should act to help them. We all can do something to have a positive impact on their lives. But, what can be done?

You could help them through Down's Syndrome Association which is the only organization in the UK which focuses on all elements of lives of people with this condition. It provides information about Down's Syndrome to parents and anyone interested in this topic. More specifically, it runs a helpline to inform them about health care, education and benefits. Moreover, this charity advises on employment for people with Down's Syndrome.

Another role of this organization is to raise money for the association by organizing events, through sponsorship and trusts. Besides, it has an important role in influencing policy making. Moreover, it provides training for carers.

Down's Syndrome Association works on so many levels that there are plenty of opportunities to get involved through volunteering or by making donations. If you would like to help, you can find out more on their website, ihttps://www.downs-syndrome.org.uk/about/
