Running Away from Problems
When a person has mild depression doctors usually do not
prescribe any medications. It is because the patient can, without doctors help,
deal with this the least serious form of depression.
So, doctors usually do not recommend any treatment for the
first two weeks to see if the condition improved itself. The reason for it is that depression can go
away over time.
However, it does not mean that there is nothing that one can
do to deal with depression. One of the options it to exercise. One can exercise
at home and no training equipment is needed. There are plenty of films about
exercises which one can use to exercise and to improve your mood.
Another option to improve one’s state of mind is to talk to
others about your feelings. This is why it is so important that family and
friends are around the person with depression.
So, having mild depression is not a tragedy as even
medications are not indispensable for people with mild depression to get
better. Although, it is always a good idea to consult a doctor as no one can
properly diagnose his/her own conditions.
